Sand, sunshine and family memories.

The beach is a place of peace. I love the feel of the sand and the sun shining down on me. I love watching the kids running to the waves and laughing when they "surf". This past week was so much fun. Watching all the littles run around and play made my heart happy. We laughed and had many good talks on the deck during nap time. The perfect vacation. Here are a few ( or many ) moments caught on camera.

Who says rainy days are boring.

Growing up I loved going outside after a fresh storm. I would roam around jumping in puddles and floating cans down the over flooded ditch. I would go in when it started to thunder again and would back after it was done. Memories I hold onto dearly.

So today after nap I looked out the front window and saw ideal puddles and over flooded ditches. So the kids and I headed out and I think they are fans of after storm play.
