Growing up I loved going outside after a fresh storm. I would roam around jumping in puddles and floating cans down the over flooded ditch. I would go in when it started to thunder again and would back after it was done. Memories I hold onto dearly.
So today after nap I looked out the front window and saw ideal puddles and over flooded ditches. So the kids and I headed out and I think they are fans of after storm play.
These are a few of my favorites pictures to date.
I mean those faces are trouble.....adorable but trouble. I never knew my heart could love this much.

Game Day
Jax has been so excited for this day. He has practiced and asked often when he gets to have an actual game. On the way to the game I looked in the rear view mirror and saw him his in his Avengers uniform with a smile on his face and tears filled my eyes. I have always watched my younger cousins play baseball. I used to spend weekends cheering on Landon on his travel ball team and I hoped then I would have little boy to cheer on one day.
The moment I found out Jax was a boy I hoped he would love baseball. I would hold him as a baby and think "man I want time to slow down" but I also could not wait to watch him grow into the most amazing little boy. I love his love of life.
Today I looked back and where my once tiny little baby boy sat was an almost 5 year old in his first baseball uniform. My heart just could not handle it. As he looked up smiling he said " I cant wait to have fun at my game." Happy tears. Boy did he. He was a hoot and it may have been the cutest thing I have ever witnessed.
Here are a few precious moments from his baseball debut.

Blue hands and happy hearts.
Aria and I got some quality outside time today. Jax was not in the mood to play outside so while he pouted in his room we went outside and just hung out. It was so fun and a good reminder to have alone time with her by herself. She is getting so big and is talking so much better. She is sassy and sweet. My very own sour patch kid...first she is sour then she is sweet. Plus she is total hair goals.
North Carolina-a trip of a lifetime
Jax and I got to go on our first major road trip. He was so excited to go on a trip and was even more excited to see his Aunt Kristina and cousins Amelia and Harper.
Jax was a rock star in the car and enjoyed the stay at the hotel....he got to jump between beds. That was very exciting.
While in North Carolina I got much needed girl time with my lovely sister in law/bestie. We drank coffee, had a few late..late nights talking and catching up. A few times I laughed until I cried. It was much needed. It was fun to be able to see the girls play soccer and get to enjoy daily life. My sister in law is a rock star. My brother in law Stephen is a Marine and was gone for a few months for training and Kristina is amazing! Military life is hard but you could never tell by how amazing Kristina has handled life. We are so proud of Stephen and his family!
So here are a few of my favorite pictures from the trip! It was such a blast and as Harper said "she will text me with ideas for our next trip" I already cant wait to go back!! It was beautiful and good for my soul.
