Fall and Christmas Tree Farm

I took a few pictures of the kids before all the leaves fell off. Then I forgot to upload them....#mylife.

So instead of making 2 different posts I will combine fall and the pictures from this past weekend at the Christmas Tree Farm. We had so much fun. We helped Nana pick the perfect tree, ate cookies, ran and ran and ran some more. Then we got to meet up with cousins for a few more pictures.

We are so ready for this season. I love teaching the kids about the true meaning of Christmas and adding on to family traditions. Such a fun and blessed time.

Here are the Fall Pictures.

Singing Praises

When we pulled up to the first medical clinic day in Haiti I was nervous, excited and ready to start. The building was small. It was already hot and it was just morning but the crowd was gathered. Sitting in wooden pews waiting lined up in small rows. They had started to gather early morning and when we pulled up we could hear the praise songs being sung.

It was magical and something I will never forget.
We ended up seeing around 400 people that day and so many of them will be in my heart forever.

Praying for one another.

While in Haiti I got to experience so much. Words cant describe what the camera caught.

I can tell you that being able to watch the Haitian women from the church pray over, for and with everyone who came to clinic was such a blessing. We had a few people from our team also help with spiritual guidance that week and watching Gods work was so touching. You could feel His love being poured through each prayer.

Here a few of my favorites I captured that week of prayer.  I pray every night for the Haitian women who spent hours praying that week. Such an inspiration.

This Dad (with sunglasses on his head) accepted the Lord along with his wife.
This photo does not do her prayer justice at all. The Lord moved and it was an amazing sight.

Words are lost

I can't even begin to describe my trip to Haiti. A few words that come to mind are beautiful, hopeful and heartbreaking. I left a piece of my heart in Haiti, that I know for sure. My life was changed way more than I ever imagined it would. I will eventually open up more but today is not the day. I need time to reflect to be able to put my feelings into words. I will show you just a FEW of my favorite pictures I have uploaded so far. I never want to forget the way I felt taking these pictures.

Summer turns to Fall.

We have spent A LOT of time outside these days. Bike rides, Laughing on scooters, falling in love and mourning the life of bugs. Its been a big summer full of laughter and fun....and a few days of pure chaos that had me feeling crazy. This is our life.
Aria fell madly in love with "leaf bug" She had him all evening and was heartbroken when he passed away during the night.

The light he has for life is the brightest light there is.

Jax...I mean Batman riding his bike with Aria...I mean spiderman.

First day of Thursday Bible School. Last first day for Jax...time needs to slow down.

Aria got to wear her cheer outfit outside of the house for once. Jax got to wear his Hawaiian shirt to match the big kids. Throwing that peace sign out.

Life is beautiful.

This summer my faith has deepened, deepened to a part of my soul I had forgotten about. I have prayed harder this summer than I have in a long time. I have set time aside for prayer and worship. Y'all it has transformed me. I laid my stress down and took a vow to have more patience towards life. I have never been a patient person but I have learned that everything is in His control and his timing.
God has proven to me over and over again just how great he and how much grace he has for all of us. I truly feel like a different person than I did 6 months ago.

Our country and world is in a dark place right now but if you look closely there is a light everywhere.  That light is Christ. That light is powerful. That light is love.

Sweet summer and tall grass

Justin was at drill last weekend and the weather was amazing. I decided after nap to take a few pictures of the kids. I decided to jump in  on a few because so often I am the one behind the camera.

Here are my favorites.
